THE ICA
The International Co-operative Alliance is an independent, non-governmental organisation that unites, represents and serves co-operatives worldwide. It exists to provide an effective and efficient global voice and forum for knowledge, expertise and co-ordinated action for and about co-operatives.

GLOBAL300
The Global300 Report is published on a biannual basis and brings together information about the 300 largest co-operative organisations around the world, in order to demonstrate the movement’s scale, breadth and reach. The top 300 co-operatives have a turnover of USD 1.6 trillion equivalent to the GDP of the ninth largest economy.

GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT CO-OPERATIVE
The Global Development Co-operative aims to support co-operative businesses in developing countries by raising USD 50m to provide access to low cost loans for capital and infrastructure projects. This will be one of the real legacies from the International Year.
Co-operatives are a reminder to the international community that it is possible to pursue both economic viability and social responsibility.
